Fair Housing Statement
CampusKey is pledged to the letter and spirit of U.S. policy for the achievement of equal housing opportunity throughout the nation. We encourage and support an affirmative advertising and marketing program in which there are no barriers to obtaining housing because of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, familial status, or any other class protected by federal, New York State, or New York City law, including lawful source of income.
What this means in practice
Every landlord on CampusKey is asked, in writing, to follow fair-housing rules in screening, communication, and lease terms. We do not steer applicants toward or away from any unit based on a protected characteristic. We do not allow listing copy that expresses a preference or limitation against any protected class.
Reasonable accommodations
If you need a reasonable accommodation to use CampusKey or to tour a unit, email hello@campuskey.co and we will work with you and the landlord.
Reporting a concern
If you believe you have experienced housing discrimination on or through CampusKey, please write to hello@campuskey.co. You can also file a complaint directly with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development at hud.gov or with the New York State Division of Human Rights.
